About Me

My photo
Beth Louella
I look for beauty and goodness in life. To communicate these elements I focus on celebrating people and places through art, which creates uplifting and inspiring images. I am passionate about celebrating people and places, I love communicating visually and I am especially interested in expressing the unseen. Key themes in my artwork are strength, faith, spirituality, heritage, culture, the emotional / social and diversity. Limited tone, strong lines, interesting compositions and bold colour are key features of my artwork. My final pieces are usually paintings on canvas with embellishment, mixed media (paint, pencil, ink and sometimes elements of collage) on paper / card / canvas and ink drawings on paper.
